Alice Greenfingers is a game of dig, plant, water, wait, box, sell. The downloadable demo -- Windows or Mac -- gives you an hour to decide if it's worth $19.95.

There's a full review at JayIsGames. Here's a snippet from it:

In this brand new release from Arcade Lab, you can help Alice sell the fruits of her labor. You can also tell her when to labor, or where to plant the fruits in the first place. Alice Greenfingers is a hybrid cross between a simulation and a strategy game, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Simply by clicking in the appropriate place, Alice will do all the work, sowing, harvesting, and selling, while you choose how to spend the hard-earned cash.

In your free hour, plant a lot, sell a lot, get far enough to buy chickens, plant roses, see what's possible. I cautiously planted too little, and didn't make enough money to get a full experience before time ran out. If you buy it, of course, you can get sucked in indefinitely. (I don't have time to get sucked in, so I didn't bite.

Try to remember to tend your real garden if you do.
