Since we've all grown as mute as our ripening tomatoes, you might want to look at our long-running Garden Blogs list, which simply by being and linking is the number one Google result when you search for garden blogs. (Take that, spammers who promise to dethrone it!)

trombocino.jpgYesterday's addition, Natural Gardening, turned me on to a sometimes-yard-long climbing squash that resists squash vine borers -- Trombocino squash vines. Eat them young, they're summer squash; let them mature, they're butternut, says Dave's Garden.

Also recommended: Costata Romanesco, but an improvement program is under way at Cornell (powdery mildew, of course).

More about this one at Dave's, too.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
