An overnight surprise from the bromeliad

I never thought my wishful thinking about seeing another bromeliad's purple flower would come true. I moved the bromeliads from the kitchen to the sunny spot in the living room for the purpose of photographing them for the blog yesterday. They were left in the same place overnight.

Another purple flower suddenly appeared this morning and, again, it caught me by surprise.
